Standard collection days

Our regular runs cover your typical changeover days, Friday/Saturday/Monday.

For any bespoke requirements please give us a call and we can look to cater for your needs.

Does each collection need to be booked?

YES. Each collection will need to be booked in. This can be done by emailing us at

INFO@SCTWASTEREMOVAL.CO.UK  Or by having your bookings sent to us direct by your booking agent.

PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise requested we won’t automatically collect from the property that has had an owner booking.

Please remember that to ensure successful collections are made, make sure we have your bookings by 12pm the previous working day.

Monday collection – 12pm Friday

Friday collection – 12pm Thursday

Not booking will mean no collection of your property.

How are collections charged?

We charge per standard size black bag collected. A bill for the services provided will be sent to the billing address monthly and will need to be settled within 7 days from the date of invoice, failure to do so will result in a suspension of service until the account is clear. Any use of over-sized bags will be charged at an increased rate corresponding to the size of the bag.

Are there any standing charges?

  1. We would like to offer a service that can be relied on in times of increased demand and not paid for in the quieter times. This gives you the best of both worlds – low costs and commitment to service.

What happens if you attend my property and find an empty bin?

As we are offering a service with the best of both worlds on offer, we need co-operation to keep our service running efficiently. Whenever an empty bin is at the property during a period in which collection has been arranged a charge is levied, be sure to cancel the collection to avoid unnecessary charges.  This will help us to attend only the properties needing our collection service. This keeps our round operating efficiently.

Does waste need to be bagged for collection?

Yes. Your waste is removed from the bins by hand, so, it is important that all the waste that you would like removed from the bins is bagged, except for glass which needs to be in a separate box. Our charging is based on a standard 60l bin bag. Only bagged waste will be removed. This keeps our round operating efficiently and keeps our staff safe.

Because we collect your waste by hand, please make sure that standard sized bags are used for your waste as due to Health & safety we are unable to pick up large wheelie bin bags full of waste. This is due to the weight of the bags and having to get them out of the bins and by having to lift them into the vans.

We would be more than happy to come to your property and have a look at your waste set up and provide any solutions to make things easier.

ADVICE FOR PROPERTY MANAGERS.

  1. Always ensure your waste is both bagged and available at the agreed location for collection-on-collection days.
  2. Please make sure you have booked your collection in; we do not attend properties without request to do so. You can book a block of collections in to make the collection arrangement easier and would recommend doing so by email or via booking agent.
  3. Whenever an empty bin is at the property during a period in which collection has been arranged, be sure to cancel the collection to avoid an unnecessary charge.
  4. If your booking agent sends us your bookings, please be sure to contact them at the beginning of each New Year to make sure we are still registered on your owner account to receive these.

PLEASE BAG WASTE LIKE THIS

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE WASTE LIKE THIS AS WE ARE UNABLE TO COLLECT.
